Pork Ribs in Strange Sauce

My mother-in-law taught me to make this, and it’s surprisingly easy to make. She got it from some Hong Kong cooking show.

Pork ribs are definitely a favourite among meat-eaters so you won’t go wrong with this one. Not recommended if you’re on a diet!

Best served with steaming white rice.

Ingredients:

  • A dozen pork ribs, mainly the kind sold for bbqing
  • Ketchup (about one cup)
  • Oyster sauce (2 tbsp)
  • Worschestershire sauce (1 tbsp)
  • Chilli sauce (I used Sriracha but Maggi is the best) (2 tbsp)
  • Pepper
  • Dried chilli (optional) (7-8)
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • Vegetable cooking oil

Method:

  1. Brown garlic on med-high heat
  2. Add in ribs and cook for 2-3 mins til white
  3. Add in all the sauces and dried chilli
  4. Cook at low to med heat for 20 mins, covered
